Sales of ice creams at a Burnham-On-Sea fish and chip shop are set to raise funds for a charity in the town.
The Esplanade Fish Bar is donating a proportion of all its ice cream sales over the holiday season to BARB Search & Rescue towards the costs of operating its life-saving hovercrafts and inshore rescue boats.
“We’re delighted to be helping such a great cause as BARB throughout the year,” said Lee Bond from The Esplanade Fish Bar.
“We wanted to raise funds for a charity where the money will be put to use here in Burnham while also promoting beach safety at the same time.”
