West Huntspill drama group’s hilarious comedy farce opens tonight

-

Final tickets are on sale for a comedy farce being performed by the West Huntspill Players this week.

The comedy Heatstroke by Eric Chappell is being held at the Balliol Hall in the village from April 22nd-25th at 7.45pm each night.

Sam and Fay Spencer, played by Phil Crosland and June Jenkins, think they are about to have a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the luxurious Spanish villa of Fay’s boss… but just how wrong can they be?

The villa has been double booked and to compound confusion their holdalls get muddled with each other. As a hunt follows, sinister undertones occur.

Assumed identities, breakneck pace and hilarious mishaps combine to make this an unmissable farce!

The players include Phil Crosland, June Jenkins, Steve Taylor, Vicky Baker, Alan Jarvis, Alistair Murray and Janet Holderness. David Jenkins, a long established member of the group, has the role of director.

Tickets, costing £6 and including refreshments, are available by calling Mary Parish on 01278 785651.

The West Huntspill Players were formed in 1973 and have produced an average of two plays per year ever since.
