Sparks from a rubbish fire caused concerns that a house in Burnham-On-Sea was alight last night (Thursday).
Two fire engines from Burnham were called to the house in Berrow Road at 9.30pm after reports of a fire in the area.
“It was discovered that the sparks were coming from a small rubbish fire entering building vents,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Crews used small tools and a thermal imaging camera to ensure that no fire was present in the building.”
