The longest day of the year proved to be the hottest day of the year so far in the Burnham-On-Sea area.
Temperatures at Brent Knoll weather station reached a sizzling 32.8°C at 3.36pm during Wednesday afternoon (June 21st).
And overnight the lowest temperature of the 24 hours was a warm and humid 16.6°C at 4.57am yesterday.
Cooler conditions swept in during Wednesday evening, and temperatures today (Thursday) will be a more comfortable 18°C.
