The Burnham-On-Sea area looks set to enjoy its hottest days of the year this coming weekend, according to weather forecasters.
The south west is in for a very hot spell of weather, predicts the Met Office.
Temperatures are forecast to reach 24 degrees centigrade (75F) on Sunday with light winds and a “zero per cent chance of rain.”
The hot weather is forecast to continue during next week.
The highest temperature so far this year in Burnham remains 23.1C on 6th June.
