Over 140 people headed to a special ‘stripe-themed’ fundraising evening for the Friends of Burnham-On-Sea War Memorial Hospital on Saturday (March 18th).

Visitors were invited to wear striped clothing to mark the theme for the evening which, held at the Oaktree Arena.

As pictured here, the audience didn’t disappoint and got into the spirit of the occasion with plenty of stripey outfits – and raising over £1,200. They enjoyed live music from the Lipinkski Band accompanied by a tasty meal.

Chairman Bernard Spilsbury told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Thank you to everyone that supported the Friends of the Hospital on Saturday. It was a fantastic night and we made over £1,200. As always the Oaktree did us proud with food and we danced until midnight with music from Lipinski. This brilliant result shows just how much you value your local hospital.”
