Weston Hospicecare held a coffee morning in the Coffee Lounge at the Princess Theatre in Burnham-On-Sea.
Visitors enjoyed a selection of home-made cakes provided by supporters of the hospice and refreshments were kindly provided by The Princess.
Sue Barlow, Chair of the Friends of Weston Hospicecare, commented: “It was lovely to see so many new faces.”
“We are intending to form a new Friends group in the Burnham and Highbridge area and several visitors to the coffee morning expressed an interest in helping us to do just that.”
“We will be having an initial meeting in the New Year with the people keen to help, with the hope of holding some events next year. If anyone would like more details of the Friends groups please telephone Sue Harding on 01934 423926.”
