Jubilee-themed tea party in Burnham raises £220 for hospice

-

A group of generous Burnham-On-Sea ladies have raised £220 for St Margaret’s Hospice by holding a fundraising tea party.

Barbara Fletcher, who organised the ‘Great British Tea Party’ in her garden, supplied a delicious cream tea which was enjoyed by around 40 people.

Julie Draper, Community Fundraiser for St. Margaret’s, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This is the 10th year that Barbara has held this event for us and we are extremely grateful to her and all her loyal friends for all the help and support that they shown over the years. Their commitment to fundraising for St. Margaret’s is outstanding. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this success.”
