A vintage Hornby train show is set to be held in Highbridge next month.

The Bristol and Somerset Group of the Hornby Railway Collectors’ Association will present their sixth Vintage Hornby Train Show on Saturday 1st November from 10am-4pm in the B Block at King Alfred School.

“There will be a variety of model railway layouts on 0 and 00 scales, and also trade stands selling new and second-hand items,” said a spokesman.

“This is a good show for seeing lots of trains running and enjoying the ambiance whatever the weather outside.”

Refreshments will be available and there will be ample free car parking including spaces reserved for disabled drivers near the entrance to the building, which is level and wheelchair-friendly.

Admisssion for adults will be £3, with accompanied children free. Further information can be obtained from George Moon on 01278 789031 or Graham Roberts on 01275 857526.
