Hundreds of job seekers flocked to a Burnham-On-Sea holiday park’s recruitment day on Saturday (February 14th) as the impact of the recession was clear to see.
Burnham Holiday Village’s Complex Manager, Josh Haywood, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was an incrediby busy day.”
“We saw around 500 people applying for the 100 vacancies on offer.”
“Competition was very tough, which clearly is a sign of the times. Some people had recently been laid off and had not been through an interview before.”
