A new sign charting Highbridge’s colourful history was formally unveiled in the town on Wednesday afternoon (May 6th).
The newly created Highbridge History Panel was unveiled during a short ceremony outside the town’s Asda store.
It was attended by Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Regeneration Partnership members, town councillors and members of Highbridge’s History Project.
Rosemary Parsons of the Regeneration Partnership told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The Regeneration Partnership has been working very closely with the Highbridge History Project to create a panel that would show all of the colourful history that Highbridge once had and should never be forgotten.”
“The first one is now displayed at the Highbridge Asda store for all to enjoy, and we hope to position a second board in Highbridge later in the year.”
