Burnham-On-Sea’s carnival club clinched second place at both Weston and North Petherton Carnivals over the weekend.
Hillview Carnival Club’s entry, called Luck Of The Irish, was given plenty of support along the route by the crowds at both events.
The cart clinched second in the Juvenile category behind Marina Sydenham on Friday and Saturday night, following up its second places at Burnham and Bridgwater.
“It’s been a great carnival for us so far – we have a great team this year and some fantastic children with plenty of support from the families,” said Hillview Chairman Mark Bishop, pictured.
The club will be hoping for more success at Shepton Mallet on Wednesday (13th November) before moving on to Wells on Friday 15th November and Glastonbury on Saturday 15th November, the final event of the carnival season.
