Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club unveils new sponsor

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club has unveiled a new sponsor this week as it prepares its ghost-themed cart for the start of the new carnival season.

West Country Parks and The Windmill at Edithmead are the club’s lead sponsor this year.

Speaking to Burnham-On-Sea.com, Hillview Carnival Club Chairman Duncan Britton said: “Everyone at our club is hugely grateful to all at West Country Parks for their support this year.”

“The funding is enabling us to get a brand new cart chassis that’s fully compliant with the latest regulations and we will have our first full-height cart in many years.”

“The theme of our cart this year is ghosts and the entry is called ‘Spook Returns’. Excitement is definitely building now.”

“Since we are a small local juvenile club with 18 children and around 20 adult helpers, having a sponsor like this is really important to us.”

“This is our fifth cart that we are building on the site of Burnham Waste, so we are hugely grateful to Terry Rickard and his family for their support as well.”
