Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club got their carnival season off to a flying start at Saturday night’s Bridgwater Carnival.
The club’s space-themed float, called ‘Reach 4 The Stars’, features giant planets, stars and moving space parts, along with 22 young performers.
The entry attracted cheers from the large crowds along the route in Bridgwater and also impressed the judges by earning second place overall in the juvenile category.
Hillview Chariman Duncan Britton told Burnham-On-Sea.com after last night’s Bridgwater Carnival: “It’s been a great evening – all the hard work paid off!”
