Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club will be hoping to raise a big sum towards the costs of building its new carnival cart today (Sunday).
The club is holding a bingo session at the St John Ambulance Hall in Highbridge from 2.30pm with eyes down at 3pm.
The club – which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year – is already working on its entry for this year’s carnival.
“Everyone is welcome – we hope to see a good crowd come along to help us raise money towards the costs of this year’s cart,” said Hillview Chairman Mark Bishop.
