Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge students at King Alfred School Academy have held an Act of Remembrance for those lost in world wars.
A ceremony was held on Thursday November 7th at the school and attended by menbers of Burnham’s branch of the Royal British Legion.
Wreaths were laid by the students, teachers and guests next to the school’s Silent Soldier Memorial. There was also a period of silence followed by prayers and readings.
