Highbridge’s Apex Leisure and Wildlife Park has this week been awarded five stars by South West In Bloom as part of its ‘Pride in Parks Award’.
The popular park has been recognised by judges who have praised the standard of its facilities.
“The Friends of Apex Park entered the park into the South West in Bloom Pride in Parks award category and showed judges around their beautiful park last year,” explained a spokeswoman.
“The results have been released and Sedgemoor District Council’s Apex Park met all of Britain in Bloom’s South West assessment criteria and have been awarded the highest result possible for a park which is 5 stars!”
An awards presentation between the Chairman of South West in Bloom and the Friends of Apex Park is taking place this week.
