An afternoon of great live music is set to be performed in Highbridge this afternoon (Sunday, August 4th).
‘Music at the Rec’ will be staged in the town’s Southwell Gardens next to the recreation ground from 12.15pm to 5.15pm.
The organisers from CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society, say the event is one of the highlights of its 22nd season of local performances.
“It will feature locals 3 Hard Boiled Eggs, the guitar and vocals of Keith O’Connell, plus Mel and Ollie from Drop The Mic, The Lampelleys, the fantastic Rogue, followed by the headliners The Railway Sleepers,” said organiser Mike Murphy.
“It promises to be a great afternoon of live, free music. There will be a real ale cider and soft drinks bar, burgers, teas and coffees, ices and a kidzone – all in the Southwell gardens with parking in the Bank Street car park.”
