An afternoon of free outdoor music will be performed in Highbridge town centre today (Sunday, September 18th).
The event will be held from 12.30pm to 5.15pm on the green at Southwell House Gardens. Playing will be Rustique (pictured) plus the Polden Mountain Boys, Nick and Chris, and Breeze singing solo.
Organiser Mike Murphy, Chairman of organising group CADS (Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society), told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This will be our first event at Southwell House Gardens and marks the start of a new location for free music events in Highbridge with a planned Musicfest in 2017.”
“The weather looks set fair and a marquee will also be provided with real ale, cider, and wine on sale at the bar with soft drinks and a free raffle.”
There is free Sunday parking in the Bank Street car park next to the venue.
The event was originally due to go ahead in August but was postponed last month due to bad weather.
