An open afternoon is to be held at Highbridge Medical Centre in September when visitors will be able to meet the team that run the facilities.
The event will be held on September 17th starting at 2pm, running until 5 pm.
There will be opportunities to meet with many from the Symphony central management team, including the Managing Director and the Medical Director.
“We have also confirmed attendances from Somerset Carers organisation who come under the Community Council for Somerset banner.”
“Our Village Agent will also be present and can talk about care packages, and support for families struggling with caring for relatives with dementia & mental health problems.”
“We also have a presentation about a Park Run initiative, and this is being given by one of our nurses who is very enthusiastic about fitness and healthy lifestyles.”
“Our lead nurse will also be talkinga about weight loss and pre-diabetes education groups. There will also be opportunities for patients to update their records, check their blood pressure and to meet the team generally.”
“Our PPG is helping to promote the event and will also be on hand throughout the afternoon, and will be helping with refreshments as well as answering any queries from patients.”
