Sudden death of pensioner ‘not suspicious’, confirm Burnham police

-

Police were called to a home in Highbridge earlier this week following the sudden death of a resident.

Officers and ambulance crews were called to an address in Burnham Road at 1pm on Sunday after the body was found – but police have concluded that the death was not suspicious.

“Police were called to investigate the sudden death of a person in their 80s, but it is not being treated as suspicious and the matter has been referred to the coroner,” police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com on Thursday (February 18th).
