Homes in Sedgemoor staff have joined forces with property tenants to improve the look and feel of several community areas in Highbridge.
The group have carried out crocus planting to make for a bright Spring next year, collected discarded litter and also cleared several public gardens.
A number of skips were also made available for local residents to use free of charge.
In Morland Road, free face painting and mural painting was held for children and residents had the opportunity to hear about Highbridge’s new Neighbourhood Plan.
The plan aims to create new jobs and training opportunities, support families with
debt and money problems, and investigate the possibility of a wi-fi service.
Dawn Lang, Chief Executive at Homes in Sedgemoor, said: “This was a great opportunity to show that we care for our community in Highbridge and to share our future plans for the area. Thank you to those who came along and joined us, and we welcome any tenant who wishes to become involved in future.”
