Highbridge will be holding a special event to turn on its Christmas lights today (Saturday, December 1st).
The event will start at 3pm with a Christmas Craft and Gift Fair in the Community Hall in Market Street.
At 4.30pm, the Churchfield School Choir will perform songs and carols in the porch attended by the Town Mayor Cllr Bill Hancock before the switch-on itself at 5pm.
Following a performance of the Choir and speeches by Mike Murphy, Chairman of Highbridge Chamber, the town centre lights will be illuminated.
The craft fair will continue inside until 6 pm with refreshments and soft drinks for the children. All welcome.
