A high-flying Highbridge school student, aged 12, has his eyes set on becoming a lawyer.

Ryan Price told his Careers Advisor at The King Alfred School Academy about plans for his dream job during the school’s very first Year 7 interview challenge.

He is hoping to specialise in tree law and help protect property owner’s boundary lines and preserve wildlife. He said: “Being a lawyer will allow me to help others.”

During the Year 7 careers week, all year seven students produced their first CV and were interviewed for their dream job before receiving a personalised careers poster from school Careers Advisor Stacey Leatherby.

James Wilmot, Director of Careers at The Priory Learning Trust, said: “It is a lot of fun meeting our students to talk about careers in law, medicine and other industries. This is a perfect head start for our students before they participate in work experience and college applications in the future.”
