Berrow Parish Council has unveiled plans to install a helter-skelter slide on the village green.
Formal plans have been submitted to Sedgemoor District Council for the scheme at the Play Area on Berrow Playing Field in Berrow Road.
The 5.6 metre helter-skelter slide would replace a Kompan Starsurfer ride which has recently been removed.
Berrow Parish Council’s plans – application number 05/16/00027 – are for full planning permission and will be consideed in the New Year. Comments are being welcomed by Sedgemoor District Council until January 13th, 2017.
