Hundreds of Harley Davidson motorbikes swept into Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday (April 29th) during an annual fundraising rally.
A parade of 400 motorbikes headed along Burnham’s High Street and onto the South Esplanade to park up for visitors.
Organisers from the Bridgwater Harley Owners Group presented BARB Search & Rescue with a donation of £2,500 towards two new life-saving defibrillators for both the charity’s 4×4 trucks, along with other equipment.
One of the organisers from the Bridgwater Harley Owners Group told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Every year we hold our chapter rally – ‘The Cider Rally’ – which is always well supported with many guests coming from mainland Europe.”
“H.O.G. members come to party, meet old friends and make new ones. We always have a grand parade and this year we once again came to Burnham where we had a warm welcome.”
Bridgwater Hog UK was formed in 1989 and is the second oldest chapter in Europe. Following the formation of the club in 1989, the first meeting was held at the Crossways Inn in West Huntspill in February 1990.
