Burnham-On-Sea Police have this week launched a new campaign to prevent anti-social behaviour in the run-up to Halloween and bonfire night.
Posters have been distributed in town centre shops, promoting the message that traders won’t be selling eggs, flour or fireworks to anyone under the age of 18 during this period.
Officers have also visited schools in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge to educate youngsters about anti-social behaviour and encouraging safe ‘trick or treating’.
“We are keen to ensure that everyone enjoys Halloween and bonfire night safely,” a Burnham Police spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
