Fun-loving residents in Burnham-On-Sea celebrated Halloween with a whole host of spooky events.
Scores of young people got into the spirit of the day by going ‘trick or treating’ while others decorated their homes to raise funds for charity.
Burnham residents Gemma and Ricky Baillie, pictured above, decorated their whole house in Cross Street with a Halloween theme when they held a charity display for two good causes – BARB and Cords4Life. A walk-through was available for a small donation and there were treats for children.
Burnham charity fundraiser Keith Mitchell transformed his front garden in Winchester Road into a ghostly Halloween grotto to raise cash for charity – his seventh year of running a display.
And nearby neighbour Morag Croker, right, also held a spooky, colourful display at her home in Winchester Road which also drew a steady stream of visitors.
Members of Burnham Dreamscheme held a Halloween party at the town’s BAY Centre after handing out sweets to residents as part of a ‘treat, no trick’ campaign.
And Burnham Baptist Church held a Light Party for children aged 5-11 years to act as a positive alternative to Halloween with loads of fun things to do.
