Burnham residents Gemma and Ricky Baillie will be decorating their house at 40 Cross Street for Halloween this Thursday and will be running a charity display for two good causes – BARB and Cords4Life – from 4-6pm. A walk-through will be available for a small donation and there will be a treat for all children. There will also be raffle tickets available for a draw on Thursday evening.
Charity fundraiser Keith Mitchell will be holding a spooky display of Halloween lights on Thursday 31st October outside his home in Winchester Road, Burnham from 5.30pm-9:00pm.
Burnham Baptist Church is holding a Light Party for children aged 5-11 years on Thursday 31st October. It’s a positive alternative to Halloween with loads of fun things to do including stories, games, songs, worship and a party tea. All completely free – though a voluntary contribution will be taken. Lakeside Holiday Park’s popular Halloween party is taking place on Friday 1st November from 6.30pm-11pm. There will be fancy dress, party games and party dances for the kids between 6.30pm – 9pm and a cabaret singer on stage between 9.30-10.30pm, with a disco to end the evening between 10.30-11pm. Entry is just £1 each, no tickets involved – just turn up and pay on the door.
Burnham’s Lighthouse Inn will be having a fancy dress party on Friday 1st November with entertainment starting from 9pm starring Dusica. There will also be themed food and drinks!
