Last call for entries or 2006 Burnham-On-Sea Half Marathon
Runners in Burnham-On-Sea have just a few days left to submit their entries for the town’s annual half marathon, which is set to return in October.
The Burnham-On-Sea Half Marathon restarted last year after a 12 year absence and will be held on Sunday, October 1st at 11am.
The number of entrants is limited to 500 for health and safety reasons and the final closing date for postal entries is next Monday, September 25th.
Entries cost £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for others. Runners must be 17 years old or over on the day.
Sedgemoor District Council’s leisure and lifestyle unit are organising the event with help from local running club, the Burnham-On-Sea Harriers.
For those that don’t want to go the full 13 mile distance, there will also be a one mile fun run with proceeds going to charity. The entry form is linked below and further details are available from organiser Brian Beale on 01934 732310.
