A cheque for a £1000 has been presented to a Burnham-On-Sea charity this week following a fundraising hair show.
Hairdressing students from Highbridge’s L&F Inspired Hair Academy took part in an event at the Robert Blake Science College in Bridgwater.
The catwalk show and auction was well attended and saw a wide range of fashionable hair styles displayed.
All proceds donated went to Burnham-based In Charley’s Memory, set up in memory of Burnham teenager Charley Marks, who took his own life last autumn.
Jo Clements, Charley’s mother, said she was “hugely greteful” for the funding, which will be used to help the charity provide support to others affected by mental illness.
