Burnham-On-Sea’s streets briefly turned white for the first time this winter on Sunday night (January 26th).
A heavy hail storm at 8.10pm left slippery conditions on town centre roads, as pictured here, as wintry weather arrives across the region.
Forecasters are predicting that sleet and light snow could fall in the Burnham area this week as colder conditions arrive following several months of mild, wet weather.
