Pavements and streets in Burnham-On-Sea turned white on Thursday when a winter storm passed through the area.
A heavy downfall of hail caused slippery scenes along Burnham High Street just after 3pm, as pictured here.
It was washed away a few minutes later by a period of heavy rain accompanied by thunder.
Forecasters are predicting further thundery showers and sunny spells on Friday.
