A Burnham-On-Sea group that organises an annual art festival in the town is holding its annual general meeting this evening (Tuesday, November 3rd) and has issued an open invite to the public.
The Highbridge and Burnham Artists group oversees the annual River Brue visual arts festival (pictured above) and also organised the painting of a colourful mural on the walls of Burnham Sailing Club earlier this year, shown right.
At this evening’s AGM, the group will discuss its plans for 2010 and review another successful year for the organisation.
“If you’re interested in community arts, this is a chance to have your say – please come along to see what has already been achieved and hear ideas for the future,” the group’s Susan Hammond-Lovatt told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The AGM will be held at Burnham Community Centre (next to the Burnham Swim and Sports Academy’s car park) on Tuesday 3rd November at 7.30pm. For more details, call 01278 788830.
