A group of churchgoers in Burnham-On-Sea took part in a traditional Good Friday walk along the town’s seafront.
A symbolic cross was carried from the Catholic Church along Marine Drive to The Esplanade before heading through Marine Cove, finishing at St Andrew’s Church Hall.
“We had a good turnout of over 20 Methodists, Catholics and Anglicans for this joint event as Burnham and Highbridge Churches Together,” said Rev Graham Witts.
The event finished with a bread and soup lunch in the church hall while the church itself remains closed for refurbishment.
