-

An exhibition and sale of handmade local glass and ceramics is to be the first event in Burnham-On-Sea’s recently unveiled railway signal box.

Lizzie Masters of The Glass Dragonfly, based in Berrow, will hold the display from Monday 3rd December to Saturday 8th December in the new rail signal box building in Burnham’s Old Station Approach.

“I am delighted to be holding this exhibition and sale of my glass and ceramics in The Signal Box – it’s exciting that we will be the first business to hire this facility,” she told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The display will be open daily from 9am-5pm, and 9am-2pm on the Friday.

A ceremony was held to open the Burnham-On-Sea railway signal box in September and the building is now being hired out by the Town Council.
