Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Gateway Club took part in a sponsored walk around Highbridge’s Apex Park at the weekend.
Over a dozen members strode out twice around the park’s lakes to raise funds for the charity.
Club leader Barbara Thorogood thanked those who took part, adding: “We hope to have raised a couple of hundred of pounds from the event, which is a popular annual fundraiser for us.”
“Thanks go to Joyce Beard from the Friends of Apex who prepared teas and coffees for us all when we finished.
The Burnham and Highbridge Gateway Club is based at the Bay Centre in Cassis Close and provides social activities for adults with learning difficulties.
