The colourful work of six local artists has gone on show this week at an exhibition in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea.
The display of photos, paintings and other artwork is open to the public at Sea Breeze Gallery in Victoria Street, opposite the town’s cinema, during July.
The exhibitors include Anna Nicholaides, Sharon Campbell, Mary Stradling, Angela Uren, Carole Watson and Graham McPherson.
Graham is pictured above with a selection of his framed photos and acrylics featuring local scenes, including Burnham-On-Sea’s famous beach lighthouse.
Sharon Campbell’s modernistic image of Stert Island, which includes several shells from Burnham beach, is shown on the right.
And Mary Stradling is shown at the bottom of this page with several of her colourful paintings.
Rhonda Mills, who runs the Sea Breeze gallery, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This is the third exhibition of our current summer series and it’s a varied display of art with something for every taste. It’s well worth a visit.”
The exhibition is open to the public on weekdays from 10am-5.30pm (Wednesdays 10-2.30pm) and on Saturdays from 10am-3pm. Entry is free.
