Bright sunshine attracted scores of visitors to a charitable furniture shop in Highbridge on Saturday (June 8th) when it held a family fun day.
The event was held at Highbridge Furniture Ltd in Morland Road, which provides second-hand furniture to local residents on low incomes.
Face painting, craft and cake stalls, a tombola and psychic readings were on offer alongside activities for young people.
There were also stalls from Highbridge Dreamscheme, Highbridge Residents Association and a special visit by Burnham’s BARB rescue hovercraft and RNLI supporters.
Shop organisers Kim Chatwin and Tina Gray told Burnham-On-Sea.com the event had been a great success. “We had super weather, a good turnout of visitors and attractions too – our thanks go to everyone who supported us,” said Kim.
