Dozens of people have helped to raise £1,400 for Burnham-On-Sea’s BARB Search & Rescue during a fun casino evening held at the weekend.
Supporters of the charity headed to the popular event at The Oaktree on Saturday April 27th where entertainment, a meal and casino games were laid on.
A spokesman for BARB Search & Rescue said: “A huge thank you to everyone who supported BARB’s successful fundraising casino night on Saturday.”
“It was a really fun evening at The Oaktree that raised an amazing £1,400 towards our life-saving work, which is greatly appreciated by everyone at BARB!”
“It was a really fun evening and our thanks go to organiser Craig Dunbar for all his work on it, plus those who sponsored or provided prizes.”
Entertainment on the night was provided by Geoff Chandler, Dancefit, Zara and Claire the singing waiters, Magic Luke and the Blue Ridge Runners.
