Burnham-On-Sea Hospital supporters flocked to a fundraising night on Saturday (March 30th) when almost £1,600 was raised during a night of patriotic fun.
Under the theme ‘Fly The Flag’, those attending at The Oaktree were encouraged to wear something red, white and blue.
More than 160 supporters headed to the popular party night, and raised almost £1,600 for the Friends of Burnham Hospital.
Bernard Spilsbury, Chairman, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “These party nights are now well-known for giving everyone a fantastic night, with a tombola and great food followed by two hours of non-stop dancing to the Fabulous Lipinski Band.”
“We also announced our next venture at The Oaktree will be a ’60’s Music Night’ on Friday October 4th when we’ll be entertained by ‘The Fab Two’ staring Adam and Alex from Lipinski with a chance to bop along to the Beatles and 60’s tunes.”
He added: “Tickets will be not be on sale until Monday July 1st when they will be available from John Marsh on 01278 785082 or Bernard Spilsbury 07856 213289.”
“If you want a really good night out knowing that in the process you are supporting your hospital, then make sure you get your tickets.”
