A biker was taken to hospital after an accident at a busy road junction near Burnham-On-Sea on Friday morning (May 1st).
Emergency services were called to the Fox and Goose junction on the A38 in Brent Knoll shortly before 9.30am.
Wayne Baker, police spokesman, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The collision involved a man on a bike and a Peugeot car.”
“The man was taken to hospital with head injuries that were not thought to be serious.”
The junction is regarded as an accident blackspot following many incidents there over the years, leading to fresh calls for Somerset County Council to consider more safety improvements.
