A food-themed shop window competition has launched in Burnham-On-Sea this week to coincide with Saturday’s Food and Drink Festival.
The competition is being run jointly by Burnham Chamber of Trade and the organisers of the Food Festival.
“Food and drink related items have been hidden in the windows of 22 businesses across the town centre to encourage people to explore Burnham’s shops whilst having a bit of fun,” said a Chamber spokesman.
The Chamber Of Trade has given its support to the event by providing a £50 cash prize to the winner.
Entry forms listing the participating businesses are available from the tourist information centre on Burnham seafront and those businesses taking part.
The food trail runs from Friday May 23rd until Saturday May 31st to coincide with the school half-term holiday.
