Have your say on Burnham-On-Sea food festival’s best producers

-

The team behind this month’s Burnham-On-Sea Food Festival are looking to the taste buds of their visitors to choose their Best in Show entries.

The Best in Show competition, sponsored by food and drink specialists Old Mill Accounting, is open to all visitors to eat:Burnham in the town centre on Saturday 26th May.

Visitors will be invited to collect a voting card from a Show Maker steward, complete it with the trader details and post it into one of the four voting buckets around the festival. All the votes will be counted and one lucky voter will win three food & cookery books, while the best producer gets bragging rights.

Phil Mills from Old Mill Accounting said: “Old Mill are delighted to sponsor ‘Best in Show’ at this year’s eat:Festivals. It is fantastic to see some exciting businesses exhibiting at eat:Festivals throughout 2018, and we can’t wait to sample the food and drink.”

“At Old Mill, we have always been passionate about supporting local food and drink businesses and are proud to offer specialist business advice to food and drink businesses in the region.”

Last year’s People’s Choice winners were Passion and Soul and Intents Catering.

Victoria from Portishead-based Intents Catering said: “Winning the people’s choice in the festival was amazing – to know that our hard work preparing for and on the day was appreciated by so many people means a lot to us. We are still a relatively new trader but that doesn’t stop us aiming to be the best.”
