A day of non-stop live music at a Burnham-On-Sea pub raised more than £1,000 for the town’s annual FolkFest on Easter Day (April 12th).
Ten acts performed at the Railway Inn to raise a total of £1,200 towards the ever-increasing costs of holding Burnham’s annual folk festival.
Acts performing were Harry & The Hecklers (pictured above with organiser Graham Cook and Railway Inn owner Danny Pearce), Bag of Rats, Three Sheets T’Wind, The FOS Brothers, Phil King, Vermin, Tim Dean & Paul Stradling, David Chave, Nick & Chris Elswood, and Richard Keedwell.
“Everyone seemed to enjoy the day – the bands were really good and we had a big crowd at the pub all day,” Danny told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“I hope we can make this an annual event for the FolkFest every Easter in future years.”
