The organisers of Burnham’s FolkFest will be holding their traditional Easter Sunday fundraising music marathon today.
The event – which is this year being held at the Old Pier Tavern in Burnham’s Pier Street – will see live music from 1pm until late.
There has been a late change to the line-up of acts taking part after the ‘Bag of Rats’ pulled out due to the illness of its singer.
Instead, FolkFest favourites ‘The FOS Brothers’ will be playing a one hour set starting at about 10pm.
Other confirmed acts include Phil King (pictured) and The Alchemist’s Wardrobe featuring Lara Conley.
There will also be entertainment from local crowd-pullers Vermin, Trisexual Winkers, Mr & Mrs Russell, Snatch ‘N’ Co, Nick Elswood and friends, and Tim Fardon and Rowan Ensoll with their new band.
All-day wristbands will be available on the door, priced at £5 each, allowing visitors to come and go as they please.
Proceeds from the door will go to help fund FolkFest 2012, which runs from August 30th until September 2nd.
