Burnham-On-Sea cinema raises £434 with special screening for FolkFest

Hundreds of pounds were raised for Burnham-On-Sea’s FolkFest when a special screening of the hit movie musical Mamma Mia! was held at the town’s cinema on Monday night (October 5th).

Ritz Cinema owners Pat and Beryl Scott presented Graham Cook a cheque for £434 towards FokFest 2010 at the end of Monday’s screening, as pictured here.

FolkFest vice Chairman Dominic Wills told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are very grateful to Pat Scott and the cinema team for holding this event. It was a great night and a wonderful fundraising opportunity.”

Mamma Mia! is inspired by Abba’s hits and revolves around a bride-to-be who invites her prospective real fathers to her wedding on a Greek island without her mother, played by Meryl Streep, knowing.
