A Burnham-On-Sea florist is celebrating after being short-listed for a prestigious award as the UK’s top Retail Florist Shop Of The Year – and she needs your vote to win.
Flowers and Things in Burnham High Street – which is celebrating its 17th anniversary this week – is appealing for local people to vote for it online here in the British Floristry Association Awards.
Owner Julie Dean, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It’s a great honour to have been short-listed for this award for a second year running and we encourage local people to vote for us.”
“There are over 8,000 retail florists in the country. High Street florists are a dying breed with many closing every year, so winning would be wonderful for Burnham too.”
“I feel privileged and proud to have made it this far and am looking forward to many more years of trading in Burnham’s High Street.”
