A single mum from Highbridge will officially open a new florist business in the town this Saturday (April 20th).
Laura Cooper, 30, is opening The Flower Fairy opposite Highbridge Post Office in Church Street.
Saturday’s official opening at 12 noon will be attended by Burnham and Highbridge Mayor Ken Smout and MP Tessa Munt.
“I have always wanted to be my own boss, be in a creative business and provide a long term future for my children,” Laura told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“With the help of the Princes Trust, friends and family and my suppliers and supporters this has all now come true.”
Tessa added: “I am thrilled to support this new business in Highbridge. Laura has shown that with hard work and determination, you can succeed, even in these challenging economic times. I am very much looking forward to Saturday.”
