Burnham-On-Sea fire crews called to blaze in Highbridge flat

-

Two fire engines from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to a blaze at a flat in Highbridge on Saturday morning (June 30th).

Crews were called to General Higgins House in Southwell Crescent at 10.37am, as pictured.

“Crews confirmed a fire in a ground floor flat caused by a container left on top of the cooker. They used two breathing apparatus sets and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com, who confirmed no-one was injured.
